Mining Rail Adventure

When the first giant radioactive crystals were found in the Swiss mountains in 1995, a feverish search for the new "green gold" began. The life-giving power of the crystals made it the most valuable raw material in the world.

Today, the crystal seekers venture deeper and deeper into the mountain, unaware that the power of the crystals has been keeping people and animals alive in the darkness of the mountain for a long time.

Some people believe that soldiers of a bygone era, young at heart through the power of the crystals, still tend and guard their hidden weapons. In the depths of the mountain, they wait for an order to deploy that will never come.

Other people believe that missing miners of old days have found a new life in the eternal darkness of the mountain, powered by the crystals. Surrounded by the creatures of darkness, they dig the tunnels and halls of the ghost mines.

Mining Rail Adventure is the search for the radioactive giant crystals. It takes you deep into the mountain on the tracks and paths of the mines. Every crystal found becomes a race against time. Releasing the crystal from the rock sets the course for a rollercoaster ride out of the mountain down into the valley to reach the safe station before the crystal decays again.

Project

Mining Rail Adventure is the third project in the Mining Rail series. It expands the original theme of the roller coaster game to include adventure, discovery and orientation. The frequently expressed wish for the two previous versions, that player should be able to explore and search the mines on it's own, became the main game idea in Mining Rail Adventure.

The development of Mining Rail Adventure is in its final stage. Completion of the game can be considered almost certain. The pre-release version is already fully playable.

My goal for the Kickstart campaign is not only to raise additional funds, but also to build a community. I am looking for people who are passionate about games and virtual worlds. I am looking for conversations, ideas and perhaps also future partners to make my dreams and those of other people a playful reality.
